Boardman CX 3XB road / cyclocross / gravel bike for sale.
Bought for my partner as it was described as a 40cm frame but it is actually 50cm. Ridden once. Lovely bike but unfortunately just too big! If it fitted me I’d use it myself – it is really nice to ride – but it is too small for me. The seller had only used the bike a few times inside – we’ve only used it once outside – so the bike is in very good condition. There are some marks but you have to search for them.
I’ve changed the stem to a 35mm; I can swap the original 100mm stem back on if you prefer. Otherwise the bike is as original.
Main groupset is Shimano Sora: brake levers / shifters / brifters, front derailleur, rear derailleur.
Brakes are Tektro disks, calipers and secondary brake levers. They are very effective from the main or secondary levers.
Chainset is FSA with 50/34T chainrings.
Cassette is 11-32 9 speed.
Headset is FSA
Wheels have 32 spokes with Mavic rims and Schwalbe Tyrago tyres.
Sorry – can’t courier the bike at the moment – collection only. The bike will be washed with car shampoo (excluding brakes, chain and derailleurs) before collection and we can leave a bucket of hot water with car shampoo & cloths next to the bike for you to do a final wipe down.
