HiUp forauction is a 2006 Stumpjumper Expert in Size LargeI purchasedthis around 8 years ago to replace my EpicIts anexceptional all-rounder Ive owned 3Stumpjumpers along the years but always hung on to this as, with 120mm rear& 130mm front it seemed perfect for the type of riding I do. It climbsreally well & hits that sweet spot right between XC & burly 6 travelbikesThis bike isin exceptional condition for its ageOver the last2/3 years its barely been ridden. This year Ive decided to try & get backinto MTBing & another bike popped up at a price I couldnt refuse hence imselling the Stumpy Additions:Hope Headset Hope Front SkewerHope Seat ClampMatching anodized red rear skewer to match thefrontThompson Elite layback seat postKMC Gold Chain Larger 780mm bars from a newer (2015?)StumpjumperSet of Race Face Atlas Bars which are around660mm (take your pick from the bars)Spare set of Richey gripsNot very old Nobby Nick tyres- front & rear(2.1 wide)I have avariety of other tyres in my garage so you can pick & choose what you wantthe bike to come with, including Racing Ralphs & Rocket RonsOriginalparts also available: rear cassette cover, original skewers, original seat post Maintenance:Approx 12months ago the following was carried out:Fork ServiceRear Shock ServiceRear Free Hub ReplacedFront & Rear hubs stripped & greasedFSR Bearings stripped but were found to be asnew so not replacedNew Jockey wheel en-route now Note-I have donevery few miles since the above work was carried out which cost just shy of300.00 The work wascarried out by a friend who is an engineer by trade & a very keen mountainbiker. Whilst I have no receipt for the work carried out I do have the box ofparts he gave me back including old rear hub & shock/ fork seals. With theexception of the free hub failing- all maintenance has been preventative vsnecessity The rearshock works perfectly including lockout/ pro-pedal & open. Rebound settingswork as they shouldThe forkswork perfectly. Travel adjustment (in 3mm increments) from 90 to 130mm.Compression & rebound all work as they should Negatives tonote:Odd mark from use but Id consider thecondition of this bike to be a positive vs negative, especially considering theageWhilst the brakes work fine there issome corrosion to the reservoir covers from when they were bledFront/ rear mechs & shifters allwork fine but could maybe do with being dialled in perfectly at the extremes (perfectlyridable but im rubbish as setting mechs up so havent touched! The odd noisewhen in certain cogs like it wants to shift- tends not to be the main cogs youuse) NOTE; THIS MAY BE DUE TO THE CRACKED JOCKEY WHEEL WHICH HAS NOW BEEN REPLACED, TODAY 11.04.18- YET TO TAKE FOR A TEST RIDE DUE TO WEATHER Std Spec:Large FrameFox triad Rear ShockFox Talas RL Fork (Height adjustablefrom 90mm 130mm)Mavis 317 WheelsetXTR rear derailleur LX Front derailleurLX ShiftersShimano rear hub, Specialized Stout frontAvid Juicy 7 front & rear brakes185mm front disc, 160mm rearShimano Hollowtech II Bottom bracketXT Crank arms Summary:Great bikewith the perfect amount of travel for trails such as Cannock (150/60mm isoverkill for many trail centres) it has a few marks from use but moreconsistent with a 1 year old bike vs 12!Its always beenstored in a garage vs outside There arecheaper bikes out there but not in this condition & if any maintenance isrequired in your ownership/ near future it should be minor as all of theexpensive jobs have been taken care of Mostsecond hand bikes WILL require maintenanceA fork &shock service comes in at around 200(?) so whilst you might save a bit buyinga cheaper Stumpy, you may end up paying out on it after a short period of timeWith thisbike you have peace of mind. You also geta few nice extras too equating to a good few hundred pounds

Collectionin person only please- id like the new own to see the bike in person to ensurethey are satisfied before a sale goes through.
Im basedcentrally not far from Leicester, Notts, Derby & Birmingham & I dotravel for work so could potentially meet any serious buyer
