I guess this is what it feels like to say goodbye to someone special. Thats right, my BLB – La Pivora Air (Black Chrome – Rare) is in need of a new owner. Why? Well, Ive become one of those Brompton Wankers – haters gunna hate.

Bike was bought from Velorution, Marylebone 3/4 years. Its never let me down, and its a really head turner in true stealth like form. The secret is the 2-speed Sturmey Archer kick-back hub (rare feature), giving you the best of both worlds when youre out and about. Promax front and rear (always have both) brakes to keep ya safe.
Carbon TUSK AIR forks to keep the weight down. And Schindelhauer pedals and straps to keep you firmly gripped in, but giving you quick and easy access out.
I decided to give Tannas tyres a go, and never really got around to swapping them back to normal tyres, as I quickly got used to the ride. It might not be for everyone tho, so I would be prepared to pop some normal road tyres back on it.
Overall it’s been cherished, and ridden almost everyday of the year, so it does come with some blemishes in the form on dints…but not from the road…but from inside my flat.
My wife caught the handle bars and knocked the bike over, thus the two dints. Yeah, I wasn’t happy. eThat said, they don’t effect the ride and performance.
If I had the space, I’d keep it. Just do a little google search for the frame and you’ll see others say the same thing. Pretty sure it’s no longer in production and I’ve never seen another one in London. A rare bike indeed.
