Traditional hand built, brazed steel British made Dawes frame with nice lug work; finished in two tone blue paint. Frame has a few scratches/marks as would be expected on a vintage bike. It has a brand new fixed gear specific crank, new saddle, and bar tape. Unbranded semi deep section rear wheel with flip flop hub allowing swapping from single speed to fixed gear. Continental tyres. Shimano SPD road pedals.
The rest of the build consists of period brakes and a domed seatpost. Frame and forks have eyelets which allows mudguards to be fitted if desired, which would make this a great commuter bike.
Would suit shorter riders, 5’2″ – 5’8″, I guess. The bike has been built up, inspected and tested by a Cytech qualified bike mechanic. Collection preferred though local delivery can be arranged.
