The time has come to sell my Giant Reign 2005/06. I’ve recently upgraded, so sadly their is no room in the shed for her as things have moved on from 26 inch wheel frames. Medium size frame, which in Giant sizing is 18 inches.
In the last ten years This bike has been everywhere and done everything from Snowdon to Cadair Idris, and pretty much all the bike parks in Wales, including the uplift ones!
Make no mistake this bike has been well used, but at the same time it has been well looked after with regular frame bearing replacements.
The bike is showing signs of its age, but it still rides well, and everything is working as it should. It would suit someone getting into biking, who doesn’t have a whole lot of money to throw around.
I have tried to show all of the signs or wear on the bike, as Im keen to sell her and want the new owner to be well aware of any faults the bike might have prior to bidding.
Shimano Deore BR M596 Brakes front and rear, with new pads in the rear. In good condition.Rockshox Pike U turn 454 forks (Adjustable travel 95mm 140mm). Recently fully serviced with new foam rings and O’rings. Working perfectly, but one of the stanchions is showing signs of wear.Fox Float RP3 shock. It works ok, but it doesn’t lock out. Its not been serviced, but because has always done its job, I’ve never seen the need to mess around with it.Halo combat wheels, with DMR revolver hubs.
