This is a Dawes Sonoran Mens hybrid bike, in good, used condition. It has a 19 frame. Many of the parts, especially the drive train, have been replaced, making it almost as good as new.
GearsIt has 24 gears, which work well. The following have been replaced with brand new parts: Chainset – this has chainrings with 28-38-48 teeth, which is well suited to commuting / leisure riding Cassette – 8 speed Chain Cables – inner cables have been replaced where necessary Derailleur hangerThe gears are working very well and will give plenty of miles before the parts need replacing.BrakesThe v-brakes work really well. The inner and outer brake cables have been newly replaced. Pads have plenty of life in them.WheelsIt has 700c wheels with brand new (other than a mile or so of test riding) 700c x 38 tyres front and rear. The front wheel is a Mavic rim with Shimano Deore hub and the rear wheel is a Weinman rim with a Quando hub. This is a very quick-rolling bike.
