Marin Muirwoods 1994 Retro Mountain Bike. 21 inch large frame suits rider in 6 foot region.Has been used as a pub/station bike. Solid built tange steel frame, looking well worn but will last foreverIts got an alivio drivechain, triple chainring upfront with small cog of 22 teeth, and 11-34 cassette at the rear. I rarely use that lowest gear but it would take you up the steepest gradients out there. I havent been able to get the front derailleur to shift to the largest chainring recently so this would add to the range, but in practice the 16 gears it has is plenty to use it as it is. Both front and rear teeth show few signs of wear.Stem and handlebar both non-stock but very good quality and improvements on stock. Has recently bought bar ends and lizard skin grips, and the v brake levers are new in the last year also.The rear wheel is stx-rc hub. Slightly off true which has meant that Ive loosened the v brake levers a bit. Would recommend truing it as its a decent hub and if it runs straight then you could get more braking power from the rear. Front runs well deore hub and lots of braking power from the front v brake. I have new pads for the front which I never got round to fitting.Will not be able to include the wtb saddle as I need it for another bike (and it is worth most of the bike asking price to be fair)I can substitute out the net pedals for flats if preferred. I have gone with an off road wider tyre upfront and a marathon road tyre (40mm) in the rear which has a playful feel overall. Ive got quite a few spare tyres of varying widths and tread types so you can select which ones you want for it upon collection.Overall a really nice bike. Great for commuting or bashing about town on. A few improvements and it would perform nicely and its all relatively simple and low maintenance. If you look at forums and threads youll see that owners of these marin muirwoods frames hold them in high regard.Collection in person please. I might be able to arrange pickup in central London
