This bike has sat years in shed, was rusting and deterioating
I have completely dismantled, cleaned polished painted greased oiled serviced repaired and replaced
This has sturmy archer 3 speed gear hub
Sturmy archer drum front and back brakes
Brooks saddle
Ding dong bell
Zefal hand pump
No basket no lights
Has rear rack , panier older, spring loaded. This was re sprayed
Main frame has some signs of rust spots , chose to leave main frame original abd did not paint
Saddle was dried cracked and mishaped as these do when neglected, spent way too much time and effort to neatsfoot oil redye re nourish balm re shape. Brought back to good soft nicely shaped conditon , but honestly notxas good as new.
The bike was hardly used before as is evident from the hardly worn original schwarblr delta cruiser tyres, with white strip rim
The brakes if anything still need bedfing in they are so little used.
The chain was like new protected in the chain guard
I had to replace the pump, original missing
Had to change the gear selector and cable , original broke
I spent wayvtoo much time on the original rusted Ding Dong Big Bell. Had to weld new pin drill and tap and de rust paint and polish.
Basjet is missing , umed and ahed but chose in end not to replace , individual choice . though the frame/ hanger is there ready, these can be bought for as little as £10 any colur so.I have put this on gumtree local for offers over £400, as i want to sell this to somrone who cones and vuews and is happy with this lovely bike. I wont send.
