SIS Glutamine 250g is an amino acid that aids recovery when undertaking heavy training. Research has shown that glutamine levels are reduced in the body after heavy training and that it is related to the suppression of the immune system. These levels are low with athletes suffering from over training syndrome. It may also be a direct regulator of protein synthesis and regulation. If you are training hard and not using Rego, SIS suggest taking 5 g of glutamine right after a workout.

SIS Beta Alanine 180g

SIS Beta Alanine 180g is designed to improve anaerobic performance by increasing the intra muscular buffers. It helps optimise muscle performance especially in explosive efforts such as sprinting. It is a naturally high amino acid found in large doses in turkey meat and North Atlantic prawns. Users of Beta Alanine report similar effects to creatine loading but without the weight gain often associated with creatine. Supplementing Beta Alanine has been shown to increase the intramuscular buffer carnosine (not to be confused with creations or carnitine) thus increasing resistance to fatigue in anaerobic activities. Maltodextrin (complex carbohydrate as in Go Electrolyte and PSP22) is added to ensure accurate measure and reduce the risk of overdose parasthesia (tingling and sweating).
