SEA GREEN RALEIGH CAPRICE LADIES BIKE 20″ FRAME . 26″ WHEELS.
Would suit someone who between 5′- 5’4.
Amazing condition 1970s Raleigh Caprice ladies town bicycle in sea green with Daisy and Bee motif.
Barely ridden, with little wear original tyres, handle bar, seat, frame pedals and brakes still in excellent condition.
Wheels have been changed to lighter alloys, which brake a lot better than the original steel ones. Sturmey archer gear system has also been replaced so works beautifully. New chain.
Lovely Sea Green Paintwork in good condition as your would expect does have some minimal marks from age, light surface rust spots on paint.
Very rare to find such a complete and fully working and ready to ride, unworn example of a 1970s – 50 year old bike – in such excellent condition made in Nottingham England when Raleighs were built to last.
3 speed Sturmey Archer gears.
Full chain guard.
Full length chrome mudguards with rear reflector.
26 inch new alloy wheels fitted with excellent condition original as manufactured Raleigh tyres.
White metal cage basket.
Swept back upright town handlebars with Raleigh hooded brake levers, white grips, white fluted cables. All cleaned and back to original white
Original Brooks comfort white seat.
Nicer older style Raleigh emblem detailed.
