This is the “original” Zipp 2001, featuring an Allsop beam. In 1993, Zipp introduced their own beam design, and Softride adopted the Allsop beam for their Power “V” bikes. This is a “medium” frame, with 650c wheels (The large frame was only supplied for 700c).
Originally a purple colour, this frame was professionally repainted and re-decalled by a previous owner.
Groupset is full Dura Ace 7400, which is correct for 1992.
Wheels are Zipp 870 disc and 400 front. Saddle is Selle Italia Flite
Drop bars are Ritchey (I think).
Extensions are Profile design. This is a truly stunning and extremely rare bike, but is too large for me.
